Scotty participated with me in some races in scandinavian class. We enjoyed being a team very much although we didn't have best results (because of my condition, not Scotty's). Afterwards we decided to buy a mate for Scotty and this is how Tekilak appeared, Scotty's niece. We started to participate in shows and got involved in this matter. Then it was much more easier because one malamute can draw near other malamutes just as a magnet. Who once got to know this breed will love it forever. Then Tekilak's sister – Candy - came, after that two daughters of Tekilak – Destrukcja and Dunka joined our team. In the meantime the malamutes made us move from Poznan to the country side as it would be difficult to live in a block of flats with so many dogs. Besides that in the country side it is easier to sled from time to time.

When our females began to be successful at shows the idea of establishing a kennel appeared. That was a right decision as the first litter showed. Our dogs live in constant relationship with the family and at the same time being able to move in the area of 1 hectare. They also run in a recreation sledge. In the kennel Sausimayok we try to do our best to produce puppies of the best quality in exterier and temper sphere. The bred dogs are not only champions but also they are successful in sledding and show these features which make the malamute a real malamute: they are gentle and friendly in contact with people, curious, active and eager to play. But in the same time they demonstrate this typical malamutes' peace.

We are very happy that malamutes from the Sausimayok kennel succeed at their first shows and also are good at this what they have been created for, meaning sledding. The puppies in our kennel are brought up at home and socialized with the people and the big dog family. The dogs live with us at home and in the garden. We don't keep them in cages or kennels. Because we consider malamutes as naturally sociable dogs we think that they can not be happy being kept far away from people. Malamutes feel the best being members of a family, spending time as much as possible with their pack.

We have not had many litters, but we try to get the puppies from well considered combinations. In our recent litters we bred into the Storm Kloud line looking for a well-built and well-balanced type of the malamute with strong bone, beautiful thick coat, free in movement, as close as possible to the standard. The three pillars of our kennel are: exterier (general appearance) - we breed dogs which can succeed at shows, temper – we breed dogs self-confident, cheerful, without aggression and above all health – we breed dogs free from hips and eyes genetic defects. We mate only with stud dogs free from genetics defects, we care about the puppies health feeding them with special dog food for big breeds, everything with the help of our vet.
Our aim is to receive such dogs which would have all features together: being a healthy nice friend and the member of a family, an ideal sledding dog and a show champion. We hope that along with the next generations of Sausimayok malamutes this dream will come true.
